School Hours
New for 2023-24 at tuition-free Pace Academy, we are switching to full days Monday through Friday. No more early release Wednesdays – our families expressed that this was challenging for them and we understand. Now every day is the same schedule: school starts at 8:00am and finishes at 2:45pm. Need to drop students off earlier? We serve free breakfast starting at 7:45. Even earlier? Before-care programs start as early as 6:30am. Likewise, after school, we have programs until 6pm, including a free dinner.
Dress Code Update
Speaking of listening, families expressed difficulty with our uniform dress code policy. Uniforms can be a lot to keep track of (not to mention clean!!) so we’re relaxing our uniform policy to fit your families’ style. You are more than welcome to continue to wear the uniform if that makes sense or you can take a look at our unified dress code and mix it up!
Orient Yourself
Family Orientation is Tuesday, August 22nd and it’s really important that YOU come! We are hosting two sessions: 9am-11am and 4pm-6pm. This is the time for new and returning families to connect with teachers and administrators, sign essential documents, and pick up information packets that relate to your child’s school year. The cherry on top? You’ll find out who their teachers are! Families are the heart and soul of our engaged K-8 so if you can’t make it, please, please call us at (248) 569-1060 and we’ll figure out an alternative plan.
While students are welcome to tag along, the spotlight is on parents and caregivers so that we’re all on the same page right from the start!
