Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop…Learning After the Final Bell

It’s 3:41pm - do you know where your kids are? If they go to Dr. Joseph F. Pollack Academic Center for Excellence (PACE Academy), they could head to a number of engaging places on our campus. Our scholars learn skills like karate and baton twirling and can hang out with our gym teacher, Ms. Copeland, who teaches archery after the final bell. At our tuition-free K-8 public school, we also offer academic help after school so once you’re all at home, you can focus on getting dinner on the table and maybe even some reading time together before bed.  There’s a lot to do!

Help, Please! Enquiring Minds Want to Know…

At PACE Academy, we work with our scholars both during and after school. Our vision is for our scholars to realize their fullest potential and academic support is one of our best ways to help. Feeling behind? Gather learning frustrations and bring them to our after-school tutoring where together we can untangle them and help make sense of classroom work. Maybe there’s a new concept that’s confusing. Or maybe a little repetition is just the sort of mental exercise needed to keep going strong. We’re here for all of it! 

Give Me a Break- With Basketball, Volleyball, Archery & Karate!

Scholars need a break, we get it. And if physical activity is the best way to break it down, we offer a variety of organized fun at our supportive K-8 public school:
  • Archery, taught by PACE Academy’s Ms. Copeland
  • Girls’ and boys’ volleyball
  • Basketball
  • Track
  • Cheerleading

More Brain Food Please!

At PACE Academy, we know some of our families need child care every day after school while others may just need it a couple times a week. We’ve partnered with Champions before & after school programs because they offer a flexible schedule to fit your family’s needs. They have a dynamic program that takes the interests of our scholars and uses them to shape how they engage. Champions is set up for team and individual activities so our scholars can choose what they want to do based on how they’re feeling that day. They get it, sometimes you want to just curl up with a good book and some days you want in on the group energy.
